Important Notes on Barreled Design

1. Average weight: Due to the X10's barreled design, the stated weight is an average in grains per inch of a 29" shaft. The shaft's weight is slightly heavier in the larger diameter center and lighter towards the tapered ends. One inch of shaft cut from the point end typically weighs 6-7 grains.
2. Nominal diameter: The nominal outer diameter is measured at the midpoint of the shaft. The ends are smaller. The point end is larger in diameter than the nock end.
3. Recommended cut lengths: It is recommended not to cut more than the indicated lengths from the point end of the shaft.
