The ultimate indoor arrow for recurve archers
The Easton RX-7 represents the most precise and technically advanced arrow ever designed for recurve indoor shooters. Thanks to Easton's exclusive rear taper technology, the RX-7 allows for shooting a larger diameter arrow with reduced bow weight and/or lighter point weight, thereby maximizing your scoring potential.
Revolutionary rear taper technology
The RX-7 integrates a precision rear taper that reduces the dynamic spine of the arrow by up to a full size. This innovation allows recurve archers to shoot a larger diameter shaft with lower bow weight and a lighter point, while maintaining the maximum diameter for high scoring potential.
Based on the same proven principle as Easton's X10 and A/C/E shafts, the RX-7 offers a flexible and forgiving rear taper that compensates for slight, natural inconsistencies in the release.
Concrete advantages of the RX-7
Concrete example: The RX-7-23 has a spine of 0.420, compared to a spine of 0.342 for the equivalent Easton X23 2315 shaft. This allows the RX-7-23 420 to be tuned with a 100 or 125 grain Easton 2315 bullet point at a normal shaft length.
Compare this to the X23 2315, which is often tuned by recurve archers with a heavy 200 or 300 grain point, at a longer than normal shaft length. Sizes 21 and 22 accept one-piece Easton bullet points or NIBB points for sizes 2114 or 2214.
Competition proven
The RX-7 was proven during the 2018-19 competition season by some of the world's best archers, including Brady Ellison and Jack Williams of Team USA.
"The RX-7's rear tapered design creates the most forgiving aluminum arrow for a recurve archer. It allows archers to use a lighter point weight to get the proper tune, creating a faster release and better arrow flight." - Jack Williams, Team USA
7178-T9 alloy construction
The RX-7 uses full-strength 7178-T9 alloy that easily withstands the most demanding European target materials. Durability and precision guaranteed.
